You and your spouse will be provided the support and flexibility you need to succeed as a college student no matter where you are in your military career. We bring the classroom to you, helping you and your family realize your potential and accomplish your goals. 

As you pursue your education at Norwich, remember that many of our courses are taught by expert faculty who are retired military personnel and can deliver additional insights and understanding of course content and your experiences. We are beyond proud that so many online students have found our program flexible enough to complete their degrees while on active duty and during deployment.

Military, Spouses, Veteran and First Responder Pricing 

All current service members (Active, Guard and Reserve), military spouses, veteran and first responder students will earn special discounted tuition pricing of $550/credit hour on all online master's programs, up to 33% off. As always, our online undergraduate programs remain at the Tuition Assistance rate of $250/credit hour. All tuition prices can be found here

Specific Support Includes:

  • Military Education Benefits Coordinator: Shaun McCaughey, Associate Registrar and VA Certifying Official, is an essential point of contact who can help with questions about military and veteran benefits.
  • Admissions Advisor: Work one-on-one with a single person who can guide you through all the upfront processes and details including transfer credits, eligibility and tuition costs
  • Student Support Advisor: Your personal advocate for issues that may impact your academic experience, such as deployment, program requirements, course materials and university policies.
  • Library Research & Resource: Our distance-learning librarian and reference staff members provide research assistance via email, phone, and chat, and they can give you access to journal articles not available online.
  • Graduate Writing Center: Take advantage of online tools and resources and get tips and best practices from alumni through forums, modules and assignment reviews.

Norwich has a number of agreements in place with the military that can save time and money in earning your degree. Our university has also earned military-affiliated recognitions that increase the value of your education. Below are just a few to note:

U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) graduates

Norwich University offers an exclusive pathway to a Master's Degree for USAFA graduates that allows up to 12 credits to transfer into selected programs from coursework and cadet training.

Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

The National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have designated Norwich University as a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. To receive this designation, Norwich passed rigorous curriculum requirements and committed to producing cybersecurity professionals who will reduce vulnerabilities in our national infrastructure.

Defense Acquisition University (DAU)

Apply up to six graduate credits toward the project management concentration in the business administration or cybersecurity master's programs or the supply chain management and logistics concentration in the business administration program.

Joint Special Operations University (JSOU)

Joint Special Operations Force (SOF) operators can use previous training and education as transfer credit toward one of our online Bachelor's degree programs.

U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA)

SEA graduates have the opportunity to enter into an online bachelor's or master's degree program with limited transfer credit lost.
