Your first line of support is your student support advisor, who functions as your personal advocate for issues related to program requirements, course materials, university policies and anything else that may impact your academic experience. If you are a military Veteran, you have the added support of our experienced staff who will help you navigate the policies and resources specific to your military status.

To help you succeed as an online learner, our dedicated distance-learning librarian and reference staff members provide research assistance via email, phone and chat. Our staff can give you access to books in print from our collection of over 140,000 titles and journal articles not available online to students through our material request services. If you have any technical questions or issues regarding your online program platform, you can reach out to our technical support staff members who are available to help 24/7.

As a student enrolled in the history, military history, leadership or business administration programs, you have access to a variety of online tools and resources to best navigate through course assignments and become an expert writer. Norwich alumni support you by providing writing tips and best practices through modules, forums and assignment reviews. Grow your writing skills with ease through the online classroom.

Other key staff members include your admissions advisor, who can guide you through all the up-front processes and details surrounding program admissions, credit transfersVA certification and financial aid. Once you begin your program, a program director and assistant director work behind the scenes to keep your curriculum relevant and ensure an optimal online classroom experience.

Additional support includes:

  • ADA Advocate and Coordinator
  • Counseling and Emergency Services

As an educator of Military personnel for over 200 years, Norwich University is experienced and prepared to help you with your Temporary Duty Orders or Permanent Change of Station.

We understand the demands of our military students, which include dealing with situations that leave little time for planning. With our in-depth military policy, we can:
•    support learners who need to take a leave of absence
•    adjust their class schedules as necessary
•    make accommodations for extensions in existing courses

All our Military students are supported by Student Support Advisors (SSA) who are trained to discuss your unique situations, find solutions, and supply you with supporting documentation to receive more information on all available options.
