Student Research Grant
CGCS Student Travel Grant
The College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) Student Travel Grant offers valuable financial support for students to showcase their research and completed work at a variety of professional events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled as CGCS students; unfortunately, residential students are not eligible.
The funding can cover up to 100% of essential costs, including registration fees, meals, lodging, and transportation, ensuring that students have the resources they need to facilitate their presentations. Each grant is limited to $2,000, providing significant support while encouraging prudent budgeting.
It is important to note that students must apply for these funds before undertaking any travel associated with their presentations. Additionally, students are strongly encouraged to engage with various events hosted by the Norwich University Research Centers, such as those organized by the Peace and War Center, which take place multiple times each year on the vibrant Northfield Campus. Participating in these events can further enhance a student's academic experience and networking opportunities within their fields.
