A: "Public Servant for the Commonwealth of Virginia Administration of Justice. Hobbies: Part-time Author, volunteer work, history, spending time with family members, museums, and the beach.
Describe your professional background prior to enrolling, what motivated you to pursue this degree, and your long-term career goals.
Public Service Virginia Judicial System-Administration of Justice. I wanted to pursue the MPA at Norwich University because I believe education is essential to a person's growth. The online classes and schedule were very flexible to allow me to complete my work at a reasonable time. My longer-term goals are to maybe pursue a professional doctorate degree, to study, and to learn more about Ethics in AI, Law Policy, Governance, and Technology."
Q: "How have you applied what you learned in your role, and how has this degree impacted your career growth or direction?"
A: "The courses on Public Organization Resources and Research and Writing were among the most valuable in the MPA program. Both offered a wealth of information on public administration issues, and the online discussions with professors and fellow students allowed for substantive exchanges about public service and governance."
Q: "What will stay with you most from your Norwich experience, and what advice would you give to prospective students?"
A: "Norwich University is a well-organized school that provides good direction on what is expected of the students to complete their assignments. The professors at the university are fair and have a wealth of experience to guide you along the way. I would tell any prospective student to consider Norwich University. Great things come in small schools. The school's motto, "I will try," is real. Just give it your best, and by God's grace, you will succeed."

A: "Thank you for the experience."
Q: "Why did you choose Norwich University Online? What influenced your decision to pursue an online program, and which aspects of the online learning experience proved most beneficial to you?"
A: "The one, six credit course at Norwich University was what I was looking for, taking only one course at a time provides a good balance in working a full-time job, taking care of personal life matters, and having plenty of time to study and do homework. Norwich University's Online program has structure, is well organized, and provides clarity of what is expected of the students. Also, the experience of taking online classes with other like-minded students and learning from their perspectives is very rewarding."
Q: "What were your expectations before starting the program? How did your experience compare, and what aspects stood out most to you?"
A: "I expected to be prepared to work hard and to be prepared to grow through research and writing. My experience was learning how to work smarter, be more efficient, and to always try to stay ahead of the power curve to get better results. Taking the time to do schoolwork daily in reasonable amounts made it easier to complete the schoolwork and taught me good discipline. Also, attending a military college is one of the best-kept secrets concerning good balance, discipline, tuition costs, great values, and structure."
