Chris Ormsby is an Articulation Analyst at the University of Central Oklahoma. In this position he evaluates and coordinates the application of external academic credit among approximately 15,000 undergraduate students. He is responsible for institutional compliance with the policies of the State System of Higher Education, which provide the state’s legal guidelines for higher education administration.

Previous to this position he served as an Associate Program Director for Norwich University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies. He entered the field of higher education in 2002 as a Naval Flight Officer/ Naval ROTC Instructor. As a Naval Flight Officer he served as a squadron mission commander, legal officer, and navigator instructor. His last military tour brought him to Norwich University, where he advised and taught students in the University’s Naval ROTC Program.

He has a Master of Justice Administration from Norwich University, where he graduated cum laude. His graduate research focused on the implementation of community justice programs, and he served for several years on a local reparative justice board. He began teaching undergraduate social science research methods in 2005.
