The Energy Resilience & Emergency Response certificate is designed to equip individuals with technical skills in incident response and emergency response team management.

This certificate is specifically designed to equip individuals with technical skills in incident response and emergency response team management. Its primary focus is on the importance of having a reliable energy grid that aligns with the university's goal of serving the national public interest through an interdisciplinary study of critical national security issues. 

The program aims to support the national defense enterprise by providing graduates with the knowledge and tools required to identify and address gaps in critical infrastructure. Upon completion of the course, graduates will have the necessary skills to analyze, design, develop, and implement essential concepts that are relevant to energy challenges faced by military installations connected to public energy infrastructure.
 

Program Specific Admission Requirements

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution, as evaluated by WES, IERF, or SpanTran.

Certificate Requirements

Earn a B (minimum of 3.0) in the following:
AD586 - Public Leadership, Crisis Management, and Organizational Change
GI554 - Computer Security Incident Response Team Management
