Our own Dr. Huw Read, Director of the Center for Cybersecurity and Forensics Education and Research (CyFER), shared insights on WCAX-TV about our $5.3M cybersecurity grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and how Norwich University stays ahead of the curve in cybersecurity.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Norwich University a grant in excess of $5,300,000 for cybersecurity research, education, and training. This generous funding, allocated over the next five years, enables Norwich to offer scholarships to students that will enhance learning and research opportunities into cybersecurity threats, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through an integrated B.S./M.S. program.

“We forget what that generation did for us,” Parsons told us last week before leaving for France. “Just here in Vermont, you know, speaking as a member of Norwich University. The reason why we have our campus today is because of veterans. of World War II.”

Jeffrey Yarvis, a Norwich graduate alum with a Master of Science in Executive Leadership, has been acknowledged by The Inner Circle as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member for his contributions to clinical social work.

Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) and Australian cyber security consultancy Cygence have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen the cyber and information warfare capabilities of the joint US-Australia Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

Norwich University has signed a multi-year contract with Seerist to use its threat and risk solution in its educational curriculum. The organization is licensing Seerist and its Foreign Influence platform to be part of an advanced curriculum program to develop intelligence analyst candidates.

During Family Weekend, Norwich University presented the Life Saving Award to CDT Matthew Peate, CDT Matthew Czaja, CDT Sheamus Finnegan, CDT Jacob Turner, CDT Maggie Lim, and CDT James Culp.
