Virtual Residency

Students attending Norwich University online will have the unique opportunity to enhance their career and educational goals by attending and participating in our Virtual Residency program. This optional residency is offered by Norwich University’s Research and Leadership Centers. 

Students can attend in person or virtually and participate in workshops and mentoring sessions while interacting with faculty, students, Norwich alumni, and speakers of the participating events. 

Attending two sessions will earn students an academic certificate that elevates their career experiences by connecting and meeting with others working in their desired field. The Virtual Residency is a great way to get in-depth, expert advice on improving and sharpening your career skills.

Military Writers Symposium - October 7-8, 2024

The only program of its kind at an American university, the Norwich University Military Writers’ Symposium convenes authors and experts in military history, intelligence, and current affairs to offer important perspectives on pressing global concerns. This year’s theme, “Perception Wars: The Battle to Control Reality,” will focus on information warfare. It will emphasize Norwich’s unique work in the information warfare space and feature popular authors, former operators, and other experts to discuss critical topics related to the field and Norwich at large. Registration is encouraged.

Cybersecurity Symposium Spring 2024

The Cybersecurity Research in Undergraduate Programs (CyRUP) is a collaborative effort between the six senior U.S. military colleges dedicated to advancing cybersecurity research and to developing research opportunities for undergraduate students. Please join Cyber Institute students from the Citadel, the University of North Georgia, Texas A&M, Virginia Military Institute, Virginia Tech, and Norwich University, as well as professionals from U.S. Cyber Forces, to learn more about current research interests and what is coming next in cybersecurity.

The Leadership Conference 2024

Norwich University's Center for Leadership brings current and future leaders together to develop solutions to recent leadership challenges, introduce new leadership strategies, and encourage collaborations across different industries and academia.

Following Norwich's mission and vision, which emphasizes honest and ethical leadership, the NU Annual Leadership Conference will provide a space to discuss, brainstorm, and share new leadership visions, explore new leadership strategies, and practice innovative leadership skills. Our goal is to build transformative leaders and to send them out in the world armed with the tools to grow themselves, their industry, and their communities.
