About

Stephanie Bourgeois is a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) and Reserve Police Officer with the Apache Junction Police Department (AJPD) in Apache Junction, Arizona.  She has been with the Apache Junction Police Department as a CSI since 2007 and she graduated from the Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2011 where she became a Reserve Police Officer with her department.

As a CSI she processes and documents various crime scenes.  Evidence preservation, writing detailed reports and testifying at trial for hours is all part of being a CSI.  As a Reserve Police Officer she works in the Cold Case Unit.  She investigates cold case homicides, sexual assaults, missing persons, unidentified remains and other person crimes.  Writing search warrants, subpoenas and exhumation orders are all a part of the investigation for these types of crimes.

She attended Saint Joseph's College of Maine in Standish, Maine and graduated with a B.A. in Biology. Then she moved to Washington D.C. and attended George Washington University where she obtained her MFS-Masters of Forensic Science. Stephanie is originally from Vermont and enjoys escaping the hot Arizona summers to come back home to visit family and friends.
