A: “I have been married to my wife Nora for 15 years. We have three boys, Isaiah (10), Jonah (6), and Micah (6), and enjoy hiking together as a family. My personal hobby is golf. I have dedicated over 13 years to the 75th Ranger Regiment, completing 10 combat deployments. Currently, I am fulfilling the role of a Military Science Instructor at New Mexico State University's Army ROTC, where I am focused on training and mentoring cadets to shape them into future Army leaders.”
Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: “I pursued my degree primarily to set a positive example for my children and to emphasize the importance of perseverance in chasing one's dreams. I intend to pursue a Master of Science in Leadership (MSL) with a focus on Project Management. My goal is to leverage this expertise to tackle complex problems within Corporate America, collaborating with key stakeholders to find effective solutions.”

A: “I selected Norwich University primarily for its rich history and the high quality of graduates it produces. Norwich stood out to me because it's a place that comprehends the Army lifestyle, and all my professors genuinely invested in my academic success. The Special Operations-focused SSDA program particularly appealed to me, ultimately influencing my decision to choose Norwich.”

A: “I had no reservations about opting for an online program; in fact, it was my sole option due to my schedule constraints. While distance learning presented its initial challenges, I discovered it to be less stressful, as it allowed me to adapt my pace to the demanding operational tempo common among special operations soldiers.”

A: “Before embarking on my courses, I anticipated that an online degree program would offer flexibility and convenience, allowing me to balance my military responsibilities with my academic pursuits. Norwich University not only met these expectations but exceeded them. The online format provided the flexibility I needed to accommodate my unpredictable schedule as a special operations soldier. A: “My biggest professional success since completing my coursework and degree has been my expanding support network and opportunities to work with Fortune 500 Companies. Norwich played a pivotal role in helping me achieve this by equipping me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in the corporate world. The rigorous coursework challenged me to think critically, communicate effectively, and adapt to dynamic environments—all of which are essential in my current position. A: “One notable instance where I could immediately apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to my job was when my team was tasked with managing a high-priority project with tight deadlines and complex requirements. Thanks to my coursework at Norwich University, I developed a solid understanding of project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication. I utilized techniques learned in class to create detailed project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
