Norwich University’s 36-credit online Master of Business Administration is designed for working professionals and can be completed in approximately 18 months, with students taking one six-credit, 11-week course at a time.
The curriculum builds expertise across the core functions of business while developing the strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills needed to manage complexity and address organizational challenges. Students can also develop specialized knowledge aligned with their professional goals.
With classmates bringing experience from business, government, military service, technology, finance, operations, supply chain, project management, and other fields, the program offers diverse perspectives for examining business challenges and making informed decisions across an organization.

Students in Construction Management, Energy Management, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and Technology Management currently complete an Independent Research Project beginning in their fourth course and continuing through the remainder of the program. Students are encouraged to identify a corporate partner and use their developing expertise to examine a real organizational challenge.
Rather than completing the MBA with knowledge that exists only in the classroom, the project provides an opportunity to bring research, analysis, and specialized business expertise together around a substantive problem.

Yes. Eligible students may transfer up to 12 semester credits of qualifying previous study.
Yes. The MBA is accredited by ACBSP. Norwich's Project Management concentration is additionally accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Center.
The current 2026–27 standard graduate tuition rate is $825 per credit. Eligible military-affiliated students, first responders, and members of specified federal agencies receive a discounted $550 graduate rate. Additional fees apply.
Norwich currently publishes graduate sessions beginning in August, November, and February, with application deadlines ten days before each session.
