Independent Research Project

Apply What You Learn to Organizational Challenges.

Students in Construction Management, Energy Management, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and Technology Management currently complete an Independent Research Project beginning in their fourth course and continuing through the remainder of the program. Students are encouraged to identify a corporate partner and use their developing expertise to examine a real organizational challenge.

Rather than completing the MBA with knowledge that exists only in the classroom, the project provides an opportunity to bring research, analysis, and specialized business expertise together around a substantive problem.

The MBA included much more group work than my earlier degrees, and I enjoyed that because it mirrors real life. You work with people from different backgrounds. Military, civilian, and corporate learn how to communicate and deliver together.
