Sergeants Three Scholarship

Established in 2020, by Paul Vincent '71 and Rebecca C. P. Kennedy to honor three Mountain and Cold Weather Army Sergeants; MSG Leslie Hurley, USA (Ret.), SFC Donald Jennings, USA (Ret.) and MSG Gordon "Duke" Dewey, USA (Ret.). This scholarship is to be awarded to special operation soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen who are enrolled in the Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis degree completion program through the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) to prevent gaps in education progress caused by tuition reimbursement caps or delays. The Vice President and Dean of CGCS will select recipients based on recommendations from the Director of Enrollment Strategies with preference given to senior enlisted leaders without excluding junior enlisted or commissioned students. Students selected for the scholarship should be in high academic standing.
