Kate Morgan

Kate Morgan, DNP, ACNP-BC, AACC, HF-Cert, is the FNP Specialty Track Coordinator at NUSON and a nurse practitioner in an inpatient cardiology setting in North Carolina. Dr. Morgan obtained her graduate degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She has an MSN in Nursing Education and  a Post-master’s degree in Acute Care NP. She completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. Her expertise is in cardiology, with a special interest in caring for heart failure patients. She is an associate of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA). She has earned her heart failure certification, HF-Cert, from HFSA. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care to heart failure patients and ensuring academic excellence for her NP students.
