From the very beginning of submitting my application to graduation day, the one-on-one interaction with the faculty and staff made me feel a part of the Norwich family.

Q: “Tell us about yourself, Steve.”
A: “I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm a 30-year Navy Veteran and currently live in Virginia with my wife and daughter. In my free time I enjoy golf, outdoor sports, and spending time with family and friends."

Q: “What is your current employer, your title, and describe your professional life.”
A: “Currently, I'm the Director of Operations for the UDT/SEAL Association, a 501(c)19 non-profit veterans service organization. I'm a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Master Chief (E-9) with multiple deployments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Africa as well as deployments to Central and South America."

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: "To increase my intellectual capital, and lead by example for my daughter as well as those that I served with."

Q: “What makes Norwich unique?”
A: "The ties to the military and the great faculty and staff. From the very beginning of submitting my application to graduation day, the one-on-one interaction with the faculty and staff made me feel a part of the Norwich family."

Q: “Please describe any memorable experiences with faculty or staff members.”
A: "It was during a recent deployment that had me traveling to four different countries during the time period of one class. My professor was so understanding and helpful as I moved from country to country trying to complete my course requirements."

Q: “What impact has Norwich made in your life?”
A: "I can't speak highly enough about my decision to attend Norwich University. The interaction with staff during the application process set the tone for my wonderful experience. The academic advisors ensured that I was set up for success as I completed the degree requirements. A majority of the faculty are prior military and understand the demands that military life can place upon a student, especially in Special Operations as I pursued my dream of completing my college education."
