Professors were available and more than willing to help. I was an individual student. I was Skyler Brown, not student number A007.

Q: “Tell us about yourself.”
A: “I live in Northern New Hampshire. I currently work at a law firm specializing in personal injury liability. I am a litigation assistant working to assist lawyers in trial preparation through discovery, mediation, etc. I previously worked as an emergency dispatcher. I attended Norwich University for my undergraduate degree in criminal justice as well. While there for my undergraduate, I reconnected with a high school friend who started at Norwich a year earlier. We are now engaged and getting married next September. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, and all other aspects of a 4-season state.”

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: “I enjoy learning new methods and subjects within the criminal justice field. Now more than ever is a time to focus on the field and strengthen the justice system. I intend to work for some sector of law or law enforcement within the federal government. Now it is time to put all of the classroom experience to work. Each time I print a resume with two degrees from Norwich, it is not only a conversation starter but what I believe to be an advantage.”

Q: “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A: “NU Forever! When I was a senior in high school, I toured the campus and instantly felt at home. I just knew the small environment would aid me in reaching all my goals. On top of that, the criminal justice program at Norwich is one of the best. When transitioning to Norwich University Online, I felt the same support as I did on campus. The criminal justice program is strong and allows students to think critically about how the lessons are applicable in real life.”

Q: “What were some of your expectations for an online degree program?”
A: “I wanted the student-to-professor ratio to be small as it allows students an opportunity to learn more effectively. Professors were available and more than willing to help. I was an individual student. I was Skyler Brown, not student number A007.”

Q: “What advice you would give to future students enrolling in one of Norwich's online programs?”
A: “Give it your all. Norwich will give you equally what you put in. The experience will be what you make it, and I guarantee Norwich will become home. The connections you establish with fellow students and professors will continue long after graduation.”
