With a little time management and commitment to the degree, the online program is amazing and is well worth it.

Q: “Tell us about yourself.”
A: “I love working out, hiking, being outside, and spending time with family. The whole family (mom, dad, sister, brother) resides in Wisconsin, but I live out in Vermont with my husband Kyle, dog Tucker, and newborn baby girl Delainey Rae. I am currently the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Norwich.”

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: “To be the best all-around leader in both my personal and professional life. I want to make an impact and change someone's life. I plan to use my degree to assist within the Human Health and Performance department as well as showcase my leadership abilities and skills to those around me, including coaches, athletes, and other staff members.”

Q: “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A: “I chose Norwich University to be a part of the Women's Hockey team, winning the National Championship in my senior year in 2018. I completed my master's degree [in leadership] six years after graduating to be able to teach classes and be a resource within the Human Health and Performance department.”

Q: “Did you have any uncertainties with choosing an online program?”
A: “Nope! I loved the convenience and the ability to do it anytime and anywhere.”

Q: “Prior to beginning your courses, what were some of your expectations for an online degree program?”
A: “Prior to the master’s course, I did not have any expectations for an online degree other than the fact that so many alumni have completed their master’s degree online.”

Q: “What is one piece of advice you would give to future students enrolling in one of Norwich's online programs?”
A: “With a little time management and commitment to the degree, the online program is amazing and is well worth it.”

Q: “What has been your biggest personal or professional success since starting your degree?”
A: “That I now have a master’s degree! I never thought I would be one to say that, but here we are!”

Q: “Please tell us about a time you could put the knowledge you gained in the classroom to work immediately at your job.”
A: “As a strength and conditioning coach, the ability to lead the room and be a leader to the athletes makes the biggest impact in my role.”

Q: “What aspects of your Norwich experience will you carry most strongly with you?”
A: “The commitment and dedication to ultimate success.”

Q: “Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your experiences at Norwich?”
A: “You are capable of more than you think. Trust yourself. There will be times of struggle and challenge, but it will all be worth it in the end.”
