I have always dreamed about graduating from Norwich University. Going to college was always on my bucket list and this was my motivation.

Q: “Tell us about yourself, Kelley.”
A: “I have lived my whole life in Central Vermont. I have a fourteen year old son and a loving companion who brought two more wonderful children into my life. My passion is cooking. I love to be outdoors, especially camping. I love my flower gardens. I am a wish granter for Make A Wish, Vermont."

Q: “What is your current employer, your title, and describe your professional life.”
A: “Currently I work for the State of Vermont, Department of Motor Vehicles. I am a Financial Manager II.  I have been in state government for seven years and with the DMV for two of those years. I really enjoy my job in a fast paced financial unit."

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: "My son! When my son was younger we were having a conversation about what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said he didn't want to go to college because neither of his parents did and that is when I knew it was important for me to go to college. Going to college was always on my bucket list and this was my motivation. It is very important to me that my son goes to college. It was a great accomplishment for me to be graduating from Norwich University."

Q: “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A: "I have always dreamed about graduating from Norwich University. I applied when I was 20 and got accepted, but I had to live on campus and use my parents income. I chose not to go because I had been living on my own for a couple years and didn't want to live on campus. It has always been a dream of mine to apply to Norwich again. When I graduated in 2014 from CCV, I learned about the Norwich online program and it seemed perfect for me."

Q: “Please describe any memorable experiences with faculty or staff members.”
A: "All of the faculty and staff met my expectations. The faculty was always willing to help me out and meet with me when I was struggling. They would call before and during our classes to check in on us. The office staff went above and beyond to help me and answer my questions. I was able to finish a 18-month program in 15 months and that was because of all the help of the Norwich faculty and staff. They all made my experience and time at Norwich University memorable."

Q: “What impact has Norwich made in your life?”
A: "My time at Norwich will be a time I will never forget. It has made me a stronger person. It made me into the person I am today. It took me a while to become a student at Norwich, but the important thing is that I did it and I am very proud to be a graduate of Norwich University."
