My job is demanding in that I travel often for work. Being able to work on class work on the road was a big contributing factor.
Q: “Tell us about yourself, Eli.”
A: "I enjoy being with friends and family and playing as much golf as I can. In the fall, I enjoy coaching and watching football and basketball."
Q: “What is your current profession?”
A: "I have spent the last 9 years of my professional career working in the aerospace industry. Currently, I oversee all the commodities spend for machining, castings, composites, mech fabs, and distributed hardware for our segment BU."
Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: "My motivation was having the technical background to grow and enhance my career in supply chain."
Q: “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A: "I choose Norwich because of its online courses. It allowed me the flexibility to work full time and still continue my classes. My job is demanding in that I travel often for work. Being able to work on class work on the road was a big contributing factor [to choosing Norwich]. I heard about Norwich through our alliance through our corporate company. Norwich is unique by the culture the university has, and there is a lot of pride with the school and it flows from the professors to the students."
Q: “How have you grown personally as a result of your education?”
A: "Throughout the course I was able to immediately apply the classwork to my everyday work life. It was great to see the course work relate to my work."
Q: “What aspects of your Norwich experience will you carry most strongly with you?”
A: "The team experience. Taking everyone's background and applying it to solve a problem helped to think outside of the box."
