The confidence that I have in my abilities, personally and professionally, grew exponentially as a result of my studies at Norwich.
Q: “Tell us a bit about yourself, Debra.”
A: "I live in St. George, Vermont. I have two grown children – my daughter currently lives in Hyde Park, Vermont and my son is in Colorado. I have been very involved with my community as I’ve held a variety of volunteer, appointed, or elected positions. I’m a dog lover and own two adorable Shelties along with my best friend, Djorn. I love learning new things and I’m an ardent believer in lifelong learning."
Q: “Briefly describe your professional life.”
A: "I’m the Health Services Financial Manager/Contract Monitor for the Health Services Division in the Department of Corrections at the State of Vermont."
Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: "My motivation in pursuing my degree included becoming better educated for opportunities to advance my career potential and options."
Q: “How have you grown personally or professionally as a result of your education?”
A: "Absolutely! The confidence that I have in my abilities, personally and professionally, grew exponentially as a result of my studies at Norwich."
Q: “What aspects of your Norwich experience will you carry most strongly with you?”
A: "Norwich provided an extremely positive impact on my life – it demonstrated that if you really want to succeed at something that you must put in the time and energy into it."
