Graduate Certificate in Intelligence and National Security
The Intelligence and National Security graduate certificate program covers the foundations and theories related to national intelligence, national security, and critical infrastructure protection. Curriculum
This certificate program aims to familiarize students with issues in national security law, intelligence and security needs, security risks faced by private and governmental organizations, and communication and collaboration between governments and organizations on security matters. Emphasis is placed on inter-jurisdictional and inter-governmental aspects of security issues related to infrastructure, travel, transport, immigration, and similar matters. The program is valuable for students interested in understanding security bureaucracy, intelligence, and organizational cooperation, as well as those seeking careers in governmental and private agencies employing security technology and services. Students need to complete fifteen hours of required courses.
