Explanation of Fees and Charges

  • Technology Fee: The semester technology fee covers the cost of your distance-learning account and 24/7 help desk support for technical issues related to the online learning platform. This fee is non-refundable once the semester begins.
  • Resource Fee: The semester resource fee covers the cost of books, shipping and handling, library support, online databases, and library access fees. This fee is non-refundable once the semester begins.
  • Graduation Fee: The $150 graduation fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee that will appear on the student's final bill. The fee covers expenses associated with processing students for graduation; thus, the fee is not dependent on the student’s participation in the commencement ceremony.
  • Audit Charge: A student who audits a seminar will be charged the equivalent of one credit hour, along with the technology and resource fees associated with the course.
  • Thesis Fee: A thesis fee of $1,000 is applicable for students pursuing the thesis option in the diplomacy, military history or history master's programs.
  • Sustaining Fee: A fee of $500/semester is applicable for course work extensions beyond the end date of the student's final course in the program.

All tuitions and fees are subject to change without notice. When changes are made, notifications will be sent to enrolled students as far in advance of the effective date as possible. If you have any questions about the current program tuition rates or your financial aid options, please contact one of our admissions advisors.
