Tuition Rates for Military, Veteran, and First Responders

In 2023, Norwich University Online implemented new tuition rates for military, veteran, and first responder students. The $550 rate per credit starts for new online master's programs in March 2023 (defense policy, global affairs, management and museum administration) and all other existing online master's programs in June 2023. In order to determine if students qualify for this rate, applicants will need to provide the following additional documentation: 

  • Military and Veteran: Joint Services Transcript (JST) that lists current status, ERB/ORB, Form DD 214, Form DD256, ID Card.
  • EMTs and Paramedics: State License, unexpired EMT or Paramedic Certification issued within the past 48 months, or ID Card with name and title.
  • Firefighters: Firefighter Certification issued within the past 48 months, ID card with name and title, or an unexpired Membership Card.
  • Law Enforcement Officers: Valid ID card with name and title, Pay Stub that shows their occupational title, or LEO Certification issued within the past 48 months. Federal Law Enforcement can use an SF-50.
  • 911 Dispatchers: ID Card with name and title or a 911 Dispatcher Certification issued within the past 48 months.
