Use Your Summer to Catch Up or Get Ahead

Norwich University offers several summer sessions that are open to all Norwich and non-Norwich students. Courses are held on-campus and online, giving students the flexibility they need to take classes around their summer schedule. All courses are taught by Norwich University faculty and provide the hands-on learning experience that Norwich is known for in order to help students gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

A majority of courses are available in five-week or a ten-week formats during Summer Sessions I, II and III at a tuition rate of $375 per credit hour, allowing you to save time and money towards your degree. A three-week Maymester and two-week special session devoted to field courses also run during the summer program at Norwich.

Useful Information for Current Summer Session Students

If you are enrolled in a summer session, the following information may provide useful information for basic questions. Your instructor will be your most valuable resource, please communicate with them often. In addition, the online environment has a support system as well.

Getting Started:

  • If your browser does not present you with the NUoodle login page at https://nuoodle.norwich.edu then contact the Information Technology Services Helpdesk at helpdesk@norwich.edu.
  • If your browser presents you with the NUoodle login page, but your username or password does not work, contact the Information Technology Services Helpdesk at helpdesk@norwich.edu.
  • If you are able to log into NUoodle AND your NUoodle courses do not match your Banner courses, contact sgrindle@nowich.edu.
  • If you are able to log into NUoodle AND can get into your NUoodle course but have questions about course content, directions, assignments, due dates, please contact your instructor.

Classroom Attendance:

  • It is recommended that you log into your online classroom at least 2-3 times a week or as directed by your instructor.
  • PLEASE NOTE that the university attendance policy also applies to Summer School Sessions.
