For two weeks in May (May 13-27), Norwich is offering two classes that combine classroom work with hands-on learning, helping enhance the overall student experience. This May the below courses will be offered; however, capacity is limited so be sure to register early.

  • ID 110 Ecology and Geology of Connecticut River, a 4-credit course that includes a nine-day canoe trip down the Connecticut River. The first 21 qualified students that complete their registration form and make the necessary $150 deposit with the Bursar Office will be permitted in the course.   • HI 260 Civil War Staff Ride, a 3-credit course that includes a trip to Virginia’s Civil War sites. The course will include classroom work on-campus followed by a trip to Virginia for six days. Students should contact Dr. Steven Sodergren,, for further information about this course offering.

Please note that these courses run at a different tuition rate than other summer session offerings, and the tuition rate includes all associated fees with the exception of housing. For more information on tuition and fees, visit the pages below.
