Tuition and Fees for Summer Courses

For courses being held during Summer Sessions I, II and III, the cost per credit is $375. Additional fees include a $30 technology fee and the cost of books. Maymester, some math courses, and the Two-week Special Session have a different cost structure as noted below.

Students registering for Summer Session courses must complete and return the Course Registration Form, along with any required payments to the Bursar’s Office no later than two weeks before the start of each summer session.

Norwich students can pay their bill via NUPay, while non-Norwich students must contact the Bursar’s Office for assistance. The Bursar’s office is available Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm at 802.485.2055, or in person at Jackman Hall, room 204 or via email at

If you are using financial aid, it must be secured two weeks prior to the start of class.

Registration opens April 15, 2018.

$49/credit - Preparatory Mathematics (Math 005) and Intermediate Algebra (Math 095)

Financial Aid for Summer Courses

A student may be eligible for a limited Pell Grant and a Federal Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, a Federal Plus Loan, an Alternative loan, and/or Federal Work Study during summer school. To be considered, a student must complete the necessary financial aid form(s) with the Norwich University Student Financial Planning Office.

In addition to the form, a student must:

  • Be enrolled in at least six credit hours taken at Norwich University
  • Complete the FAFSA form by April 1
