Arch Coal Foundation

The Arch Coal Foundation was formed in December 2005 with an initial endowment from Arch Coal, Inc. to support education, culture, and the environment. The Foundation supports the communities in which Arch Coal operates, including Wyoming, West Virginia, Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Kentucky and Virginia. Over the last few years, the Foundation has supported education through the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Awards, recognizing top classroom teachers in Wyoming, West Virginia and select counties in Utah, and the Arch Coal Innovative Teaching Grants Program in parts of Colorado. It has also supported the local arts groups, including the University of Wyoming Art Museum, the MUNY Opera and the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, and is a major sponsor of the University of Wyoming's Clean Coal Technology Center. Norwich is pleased to offer Arch Coal Foundation employees and their families a 10% tuition discount and waived application fee for our master's degree programs.
