Timothy Josephson, a 2018 graduate of Norwich’s Master of Public Administration degree program, won the 2018 Grafton 11 district of New Hampshire against Dorchester Republican Roy Russell. This seat represents Canaan, Dorchester and Wentworth. Josephson was re-elected with a win of 1,042 votes, while Russell totaled 927 in the district. Josephson, 40, supports an initiative that will help lower property taxes, opposes the concealed carry law and wishes to raise the minimum wage. Josephson also believes that New Hampshire should “keep their promises” by contributing to municipal pensions, school building aid and education spending.
