Michael Kelleher, who is on track to graduate from Norwich University’s Master of Public Administration program in June 2019, was named the new fire chief in Foxboro, Mass. While still in high school, Kelleher joined the Foxboro Fire Department as a junior firefighter and obtained his EMT certification before graduating. Fire service runs in his family, as his grandfather was a longtime firefighter in Foxboro, and his uncle still serves as an active firefighter today. Another finalist for the position, Thomas Buckley, joined the Foxboro Fire Department in 1997 and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Norwich University.
