2009 with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership graduate Maurice “Mo” Myers was named the executive assistant director of the Intelligence Branch at FBI Headquarters in Washington. Myers serves as the strategic leader of the FBI’s intelligence program overseeing the FBI’s intelligence strategy, resources, policies, and functions. Myers most recently served as the assistant director of the Insider Threat Office, the FBI’s central strategic coordinating component for all insider threat issues. Prio to the exectuive assistant director position, Myers was named as special agent in charge of the Memphis Field Office. Myers served as a section chief in the Training Division at FBI Headquarters. He joined the FBI in 1996 with the Miami Field Office working on counterintelligence matters. He also served on FBI’s Miami SWAT team from 1999 to 2005. He started his journey prior to joining the FBI as a state probation/parole agent in Columbia, South Carolina.
