Laura Perez was recently named Executive Director of the Special Needs Support Center in Lebanon, NH. The Special Needs Support Center is dedicated to assisting children and adults with special needs. Through strong advocacy and the support of SNSC’s multifarious programs, individuals with special needs and their loved ones are better prepared to meet the challenges relative to their respective situations. Individuals served by SNSC are empowered to attain greater independence, thereby giving them the opportunity to make significant contributions to their communities.
As a community organizer with a career spanning more than fifteen years, Perez brings a wealth of vital experience to her new position, including expertise in educational initiatives, fundraising, and community outreach. Her academic pursuits—and subsequent public service—have focused primarily on addressing the systemic underpinnings of poverty, as well as the ways in which community education can effect social change. A 2016 graduate of Norwich University’s Master of Business Administration degree program, Perez is committed to facilitating a culture of happiness, safety and good health in the home and workplace.
