Kristopher White, a 2009 graduate of the Master of Arts in Military History program, was the featured speaker at a recent California University of Pennsylvania Civil War roundtable. The event’s topic was on the battle of the Bloody Angle, the most famous action of the Spotsylvania Court House battle in 1864. White is recognized by his peers as an expert on the topic.
In addition to serving as a staff military historian at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park for five years, White is the co-founder of Emerging Civil War, a blog dedicated to giving voice to the next generation of Civil War historians.
