Basil Aboul-Enein has co-authored a book published by the U.S. Naval Institute Press, titled The Secret War for the Middle East: The Influence of Axis and Allied Intelligence Operations during World War II. The text looks at the involvement that the Middle East had as a key theater for the Allies as a British-dominated area. The book then explores how their positioning during the war shaped the course of Arab nationalist sentiments throughout the Middle East. A a former U.S. Air Force captain, Aboul-Enein currently teaches undergraduate nutrition courses at San Jacinto College and East Mississippi Community College.
