Q: “Tell us about yourself, Wendy.”
A: "I am from New Jersey where I live with my husband of 18 years. I enjoy spending time with my son who turns 23 later this year. When I’m not enrolled in classes I enjoy gardening, playing video games, and doing crafts. I also like to visit Disney World during the holiday season."

Q: “Please describe your professional experience.”
A: "I currently work as the Development Administrator and Office Manager for the Salvation Army Wilmington Corps. At the Corps, I work with volunteers and interns, help coordinate events, write grant proposals, update our social media and collaborate with Directors and Board Members. I also represent The Salvation Army as a member of Delaware’s Human Trafficking Awareness Committee."

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: "I had been volunteering and mentoring for a mothers of preschoolers group, and while with this group I learned about human trafficking and began to do my own research on the topic. I was laid off after a 13-year career in the oil industry and decided to return to school in the hopes of making a difference for trafficking victims."

Q: “What was the deciding factor in pursuing an online degree versus a traditional on-campus degree?”
A: "I love traditional classes, but I was not in a position that would allow me to return to school full-time. Online courses were easily adaptable to my schedule, offering one class at a time. Norwich offers programs that are adaptable and reasonably priced. The instructors are knowledgeable in their areas and offer helpful critiques."

Q: “How have you grown personally or professionally since completing your coursework and degree?”
A: "A Norwich education has opened the door to non-profit work that was otherwise closed to me. Since participating in classes through Norwich, I have been able to secure a position with The Salvation Army."
