Q: “Tell us a bit more about you, Tra.”
A: “I live in Billings, Montana where my wife is from. I have three children, two girls and one boy. My wife is do many things together, since she is a nurse as well. I’m also the chaplain for a minor league baseball team, Billings Mustangs.”

Q: “What is your current employer?”
A:  “I am the director of regional operations for the Billings Clinic. I have been in nursing for 17 years.” 

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A:  “I am a lifelong learner and I have aspirations of teaching nursing in the future.” 

Q: “Why did you choose Norwich and how did you learn about it?”
A:  “I had a friend who did his undergrad here and he talked about Norwich, so I decided to look into the school. I saw a webinar and the program intrigued me the more I learned about it. And trust me, I did my homework.”

Q: “What do you believe makes Norwich unique?”
A: “I have had a very good experience. The program makes it very easy for the students – since Norwich mails the books to students. I even got a phone call before every class. I never felt like I wasn’t important. From the day I started my application, to the day I got my degree, everyone has been there to help me get things done.”

Q: “How have you grown personally or professionally as a result of your education?”
A:  “I feel more confident when we are having discussions both in school and at work and then I can apply it to what I am doing.”

Q: “Were you able to put your knowledge to work immediately at your job?”
A: “Every paper I wrote was related to my job. It expanded me beyond what I would have done naturally and truly challenged me.”

Q: “What aspects of your Norwich experience will you carry most strongly with you?”
A: “The quality of the people that I went to class with.”
