Q:  “Ronald, tell us a little about yourself and your hobbies.”
A:  “I completed my BSN program at Norwich. I am married with 3 children ages 9, 7, and 6, and met my wife here at Norwich, who also earned her BSN.

Q:  “Where do you work?”
A:  “I work at New Milford Hospital. I am both the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department and the Emergency Management Coordinator for the hospital.”

Q:  “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A:  “Professional and personal growth and the sense of pride to be able to accomplish this task while being able to balance work, family, and the school schedule.”

Q:  “What makes Norwich unique?”
A:  “Its rich history and the overall program design. The program design is what makes the online Master of Science in Nursing program in the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies very unique as it was the only school I found that totally allowed the most flexibility to balance home, work, and school life, yet afforded me with the opportunity to immediately apply what I was learning.”

Q:  “Do you have any memorable experiences with faculty members?”
A: “They were all very good but one, Dr. McCord, made it a point twice - once during the seminar and once during Residency week - to encourage and coach me to publish one of my papers from my program.”

Q:  “How have you grown professionally as a result of your education?”

A:   “I have a stronger sense of leadership and knowledge.”
