My motivation for pursuing my degree was to obtain the academic credentials required to become an information assurance professional. I also found that demand for growth in this field is going to grow exponentially in the years to come and it is a field I am fascinated with.

Q:  “Matthew, tell us a little about you as a person and your interests or hobbies.”
A:  “I am a veteran having served 10 years of Active Duty in the US. Army.  I grew up about an hour north of the Philadelphia area and now reside in the Chicago IL region. I have interests within the areas of technology, education, and helping people become successful. One of the ways I do this is by being an online Adjunct Professor for Ashford University. It gives me a personal sense of pride to know that I am helping shape the ultimate weapon ... the mind.”

Q:  “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A:  “My motivation for pursuing my degree was to obtain the academic credentials required to become an Information Assurance Professional. I also found that demand for growth in this field is going to grow exponentially in the years to come and it is a field I am fascinated with. Norwich University was my school of choice hands down given its National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security Academic Center of Excellence status.

Q:  “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A:  “I chose Norwich for the history, tradition and academic excellence the institution provides to both undergraduates as well as graduate students. I learned about Norwich University researching graduate schools that would be a perfect fit for me both personally and professionally. Norwich University was the ultimate choice and I am forever in its debt for what it has given me.

Q:  “What makes Norwich unique?
A: “Norwich is unique for a multitude of reasons. None are as important as its values. No institution comes remotely close to meeting or exceeding the values it has set forth for its students, graduates and alumni. Those who live these values will forever be successful.”

Q:  “How have you grown professionally as a result of your education.”
A:   “My professional growth as a result of my education has given me confidence that I can think critically, respect diverse points of view and to be able to candidly speak to a wide range of people. From staff, to CEO’s, when you have a degree from Norwich, you don’t have any fear making your point known in a discussion. You are given the confidence to present your case in a professional, efficient and tactful manner.”
