Norwich is a big family. Although it is a small school, it’s very personal and very proud, with lots of tradition. Norwich makes you feel like you’re really a part of something.

Q: “Tell us about where you live, your family, and hobbies.”
A: “I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but I’ve been living in Europe for the past five years, with one year in Switzerland and four years in Spain. My parents are David and Wendy and I have two older brothers. I love riding my bike, reading, and cooking.”

Q: “What is your current employer and briefly describe your professional life.”
A: “I am a professional basketball player for Club Alcobendas. I contribute to the success of the Alcobendas basketball team, not only on the court, but in the community as well. I help the club achieve its vision by diffusing sport into the community and by encouraging young girls to play.”

Q: “What was your motivation for pursuing your degree?”
A: “I would like to try to become a collegiate basketball coach and a master's degree in organizational leadership is a perfect fit.”

Q: “Why did you choose Norwich and how did you hear about it?”
A: “I found it online and it had a great ranking. The woman I talked to on the phone was great. She didn’t try to convince me that Norwich was the school for me, but she helped me see what I wanted.  I like the idea of a residency week and that the school had a rich history.”

Q: “What makes Norwich unique?”
A: “It’s a big family. Although it is a small school, it’s very personal, very proud, with lots of tradition. Norwich makes you feel like you’re really a part of something.”

Q: “Please describe any memorable experiences with faculty members or members of you cohort.”
A: “Meeting each other for the first time at residency, checking out the name tag, making eye contact and then smiling at each other. I felt like I had known them for a long time and we all had great conversations.”
