I considered an MBA program however, the MSL program was a better fit for my desire to instate. I needed that individual leadership training that is more specific than in an MBA, where it’s a broader focus. I was able to practically apply the lesson plan throughout my deployment, and it refined my leadership capabilities to ease my transition back to my civilian occupation.
