My motivation for the selecting the military history degree is purely personal. I am retired military and have a deep interest in history for what it tells us about ourselves and what it can possibly say for the future.

Q:  “Bill, tell us about you as a person.”
A:  “I am a husband, father, and grandfather; a retired army officer and retired also from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. I am a Vietnam Veteran.”

Q:  “Tell us about where you live.”
A:  “I live in Wisconsin, just north of Madison, the State capital and home to the University of Wisconsin Badger.”

Q:  “What was your motivation for selecting the online Military History program?”
A:  “It is purely personal. I am retired military and have a deep interest in history for what it tells us about ourselves and what it can possibly say for the future.”

Q:   “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A:    “I looked into the university and was very impressed with the faculty, the institution, and the program.”

Q:  “What makes Norwich unique?”
A:  “There are not a lot of universities with the military history degrees. The online delivery make it possible for those in remote geographic areas to continue their education.”

Q:  “Please tell us about any memorable experiences with faculty members.”
A:  “I had some interaction with Dr. Ehrman that demonstrated his deep concern for me as a student in the military history program that I interpreted as a personal expression of the Norwich family.”

Q:  “Anything else you would like to tell us about your experiences at Norwich or the impact of Norwich on your life?”
A:  “Attendance at NU has been personally gratifying not only for the intellectual stimulation but also for the many fine people I’ve met at NU and the classmates with whom I forged strong bonds.”
