Q: “Bill, tell us about you as a person.”
A: “I am a husband, father, and grandfather; a retired army officer and retired also from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. I am a Vietnam Veteran.”
Q: “Tell us about where you live.”
A: “I live in Wisconsin, just north of Madison, the State capital and home to the University of Wisconsin Badger.”
Q: “What was your motivation for selecting the online Military History program?”
A: “It is purely personal. I am retired military and have a deep interest in history for what it tells us about ourselves and what it can possibly say for the future.”
Q: “Why did you choose Norwich?”
A: “I looked into the university and was very impressed with the faculty, the institution, and the program.”
Q: “What makes Norwich unique?”
A: “There are not a lot of universities with the military history degrees. The online delivery make it possible for those in remote geographic areas to continue their education.”
Q: “Please tell us about any memorable experiences with faculty members.”
A: “I had some interaction with Dr. Ehrman that demonstrated his deep concern for me as a student in the military history program that I interpreted as a personal expression of the Norwich family.”
Q: “Anything else you would like to tell us about your experiences at Norwich or the impact of Norwich on your life?”
A: “Attendance at NU has been personally gratifying not only for the intellectual stimulation but also for the many fine people I’ve met at NU and the classmates with whom I forged strong bonds.”
