Byron Henry

Byron K. Henry is serving as the interim program director for the Accounting program. He earned his Ph.D. in accounting from Texas A&M University and his master’s degree in accounting from George Washington University. Henry has various field experience in accounting, including working with the Office of the State Auditor in Austin, Texas, and the international accounting firm, Ernst & Whinney. Henry has over 20 years of academic experience – most recently, Henry served as an associate professor at Stevenson University. He has taught multiple courses in accounting, which include accounting principles, financial accounting, managerial accounting, government and non-profit accounting, international accounting, and financial management. Henry has also served on multiple accounting associations in several leadership roles. He currently serves on the American Accounting Association.
