Rob St Peter is the Director of Cloud Integration and Services for BTAS Corporation in Bedford, Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a master’s degree in Operational Studies from the United States Marine Corps, School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW). He enlisted in the Marine Corps as motorman where he served in the reserves while attending college. After completing the Officer Candidate program in Quantico Va, he was commissioned as a 2ndLt and attended the Infantry Officer Course. Throughout his career he served as an Infantry Officer, Intelligence Officer and Operational Planner. Rob served multiple tours in various Infantry and Reconnaissance Battalions as well as a tour with the Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. He completed multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan in both operational and staff capacities. During his final tour in Afghanistan he served as the Future Operations Officer, Regional Command South West, International Security Assistance Force. There he was responsible for planning all Joint, Combined and Coalition Operations within the command. He concluded his active duty career, at the United States Naval War College (USNWC), as a Professor in the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School. He has been teaching in the Strategic Studies Defense Analysis Program at Norwich since his retirement from active duty and enjoys the opportunity to work with those still serving.
