Credit Where Credit Is Due

Depending on your military experience and education, you may be eligible to receive academic credits that can be put toward your Norwich degree.

Through the strategic partnership between the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and Norwich University, you can receive transfer credits for courses you have taken at DAU, bringing you closer to achieving your master’s degree. Qualified students may transfer six graduate credits toward either the project management concentration in the business administration, civil engineering, or information security and assurance master's programs or the supply chain management and logistics concentration in the business administration program. For more information about our DAU partnership, speak with an advisor.

For our criminal justice, cyber security, interdisciplinary studies, management studies, national security studies and strategic studies and defense analysis bachelor’s degree completion programs, you may receive the equivalent of up to 60 semester credits for prior college coursework, SOF courses, preparation in leadership and language study, or additional specialized military training as reviewed for credit by the American Council on Education or a similarly recognized organization. You can transfer an additional 30 credits if those credits are recognized as course-for-course equivalents through the transcript review process. For more information about transfer credits, speak with an advisor.
