Campus activity is picking up considerably as preparations for the fall semester are well underway. The CGCS team is also busy preparing for fall classes and I know our current students are working hard to complete their summer courses and take one step closer to their degree.

The CGCS faculty and staff are busy putting the final touches on the Residency Conference. A highlight this year is having Dr. Condoleeza Rice serve as our keynote speaker in the Todd Lecture Series, who I am sure will certainly inspire lively discussion on campus and beyond.

I’m excited to share with you a new interactive feature on our Website called “What to Expect at Norwich.” We've used video and photography to capture the experiences and perspectives of our students, faculty, and staff, and these experiences are now live on our Website.

We had a wonderful 2012 highlighted by the residency conference, new degrees awarded, the creation of a new degree completion program in criminal justice. I expect that 2013 will continue to provide new opportunities both personally and professionally.
