Advance in Your Career with a MSN Degree

To be in my Director Nursing position, a master’s program was required. I’ve been in the role for eight years, and I knew it was a requirement but I got the job commensurate with my experience, but I always in the back of my mind knew that I wanted to get my master’s degree. A master’s degree opens doors for me; it’s an opportunity now that I can take to explore teaching at the collegiate level. I can go into legal nurse consulting, which has been an interest of mine for years. There’s a lot more in my career ahead of me, I just don’t know where it is yet, where it’s going to be.
