Presented for the first time at the 2016 Residency Conference, the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) is excited to offer the annual CGCS Alumni Award. The award will be presented each year during the Residency Conference to an alumnus or alumnae for their exceptional service to Norwich University, outstanding accomplishments in their career, and notable public service.

The 2016 College of Graduate and Continuing Studies Alumni Award was awarded to Michael Meline, who graduated in 2009 from the Master of Science in Information Assurance program. Mike has stayed connected to Norwich and CGCS, continually recommending students to our online programs, helping to build the online Penetration Testing courses, providing new curriculum ideas that enhance student outcomes by providing key skills that organizations are seeking within the information technology and assurance field, and working with program directors to create SOC (Security Analyst) education to be offered online. Mike has also established the Community Security Coalition  in the Pacific Northwest.
