New Opportunities to Enhance Your Knowledge and Skills

In the last few months, the College of Graduate and Continuing Studies has expanded its online portfolio with new educational opportunities to help working adults, like you, enhance their knowledge and skills. This includes graduate-level certificates and an accelerated, one-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. We have also recently launched our sixth online bachelor’s degree completion program – the Bachelor of Science in National Security Studies.
 
Information Security & Assurance Certificates
Helping students increase their knowledge in the information security and assurance field, Norwich now offers four certificates in a variety of areas. All certificates are comprised of two 11-week courses, worth a total of 12 graduate-level credits. The coursework is completed entirely online through the Norwich University Online classroom. Available certificates include Computer Forensic Investigation/Incident Response Team Management, Vulnerability Management, Critical Infrastructure Protection & Cyber Crime, and Cyber Law & International Perspectives in Cyberspace.
 
Public Administration Certificates
With nine available certificates, our public administration certificates are designed to help students stay competitive and continually advance their knowledge in the field of public service. Each certificate is delivered entirely online, consists of two 11-week courses and earns you 12 graduate-level credits upon completion. Available areas of focus include International Development & Influence, Public Administration & Crisis Management, Fiscal Management, Rural Municipal Governance, Urban Municipal Governance, Effective Nonprofit Management, Nonprofit Human Resource Management, Nonprofit Healthcare Management, and Nonprofit Resource Development.

One-Year MBA 
Are you interested in earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA)? For alumni of the Civil Engineering, Diplomacy, Information Assurance/Information Security & Assurance, Organizational Leadership/Leadership and Nursing master’s programs, we are excited to announce that we have developed a pathway that allows you to earn your MBA with Norwich. You can earn the degree in one year as you may be able to waive the program electives based on courses you completed during your master’s program at Norwich.

B.S. in National Security Studies
Designed for working adults looking to finish their undergraduate degree, the National Security Studies program focuses on preparing students for understanding national and global security issues, operations and investigations that affect the U.S. The program is set to begin its first trimester in May 2017, making it the sixth online degree completion program at Norwich.
