Najiba Benabess is the director of the School of Business and Management at Norwich. She teaches microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and quantitative methods courses, teaching in both the online MBA program and the diplomacy program at Norwich. She is an online instructor for several universities and colleges in the Milwaukee area. She previously served as a full-time professor at the University of Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The focus of her economics scholarship is industrial organization, and she publishes and presents her research throughout the U.S. and abroad. In 2009, her study “Privatization versus Subsidization in Mixed Oligopoly” was selected as the year’s best conference business paper by the International Journal of Arts and Sciences.

She holds a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and speaks several languages.
